Intentions

When I got this whole website started my intention was to share my Tupperware journey in this blog while still sharing lots of information about all the current goings on with the actual Tupperware business.  I am feeling like I really haven't met the first part of that personal intention yet, to share more about my own Tupperware journey.  So on that note I'm working on some more personal entries.  Most of the postings so far have been about sales and Tupperware facts and information...not so much about me, my family, why Tupperware is important to us, what I'm personally working on, etc.  I have a ton of projects to share with you and a couple of personal stories too, I'm just working on writing them up and getting all the photos together, so keep an eye out for them in the coming weeks.

Until that time, here's a couple of pictures I'd like to share.  One of the biggest reasons I love my Tupperware business is my children.  It allows me to stay home with them and earn some extra cash without going crazy with all the home time, I get to spend time with my daughter picking out samples and trying out new recipes for demonstrations and I get to share fun new things with my kids, like the new samples that just came in...Mira helped me pick out a Mini Serve-It Set and a Kids Cake Taker Set for her brother Isaac.  Isaac is very excited to have his own Tupperware to play with...in fact, the little purple juice jug has gone everywhere with him, he even had a nap with it!

Mira picked out a Kids in the Kitchen Set for herself.  I wasn't too sure why until it got here yesterday and the first question after unpacking it was, "can I bake some cookies right now?"  I creamed the sugar and butter, she did all the rest of the measuring and mixing, she even rolled out the dough balls for the first batch herself.  And I have to say, having made this recipe myself many, many times over the last 8 years...I don't know what I was doing wrong, but her cookies turned out WAY better than mine ever did!  Mine were always flat and crispy, Mira's are big, hearty Oatmeal Raisin cookies that are crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside, just the way an Oatmeal Raisin cookie should be.  So thanks Tupperware for inspiring my daughter to take up baking and helping her teach her own momma a few tricks along the way!
